COLUMBUS, OHIO—Did someone say breakfast? Columbus is one of America’s up-an-coming culinary destinations and what meal better to start with then breakfast.

If you think that you love breakfast, then you haven’t met Professor Nick Dekker of Columbus, Ohio, the blogger behind BreakfastwithNick.com and the book Breakfast with Nick: Columbus. He calls himself “one of those insufferable morning people.” I would say that I fall into the same category.

Breakfast is that meal that you can get together casually with friends and family. As Nick says, “Breakfast is an excuse to gather regularly.”

Some people have their regular places with their regular seat, all part of a daily or weekly routine. Others enjoy being adventurous and trying new places. But there is always something for every taste. You can almost always count on eggs in some form, and, all being well, some bacon.
